From Passion to Possibility: Help Us Grow a Home for Washington’s Nonprofits
We need your support to move Washington Nonprofit Network forward.
✨ Last summer, my daughter Bee and I launched the idea of Washington Nonprofit Network (WNN) to support small- and medium-sized nonprofits — the heartbeat of our communities. We listened to many of you and began building a network where nonprofits could find visibility, connection, and support.
Our vision is to create:
🌐 An online nonprofit directory to grow awareness (live now)
📅 A shared calendar to promote events, fundraisers, and workshops (live now)
🤝 A private space for nonprofit leaders to collaborate and connect
👥 Quarterly meetups to build relationships in person
🔗 Referrals to trusted partners who want to see you succeed
A year later, our passion is still strong — but limited resources have slowed our progress. Many of you have asked how you can help, and after some reflection, I realize the most impactful way forward is to invite you into this effort.
I’m putting in the work, but to truly move WNN forward, we need financial support. My goal is to raise $10,000 to cover technology, marketing, and the cost of quarterly gatherings. Whether it’s $5, $50, $100, or $1,000, your contribution makes a real difference. With your help — along with memberships, sponsorships, and advertising — we’ll have the runway to grow WNN for a full year.
💙 Here’s how you can support:
Make a direct contribution here: https://tinyurl.com/wnnsupport
Join as a nonprofit member ($100–$300/year) or a supporting member ($400/year): https://washingtonnonprofitnetwork.com/join-today.html
Advertise on our site ($40-$75/month): https://washingtonnonprofitnetwork.com/advertise
If financial support isn’t possible right now, you can still help in huge ways — by liking, sharing, and commenting on our posts, volunteering your time, or referring nonprofits and partners who would benefit from WNN. We would also appreciate it if you would share this with friends and associates who may want to support our efforts.
I’m deeply grateful for this community. Together, we can make Washington stronger by lifting up the nonprofits who do so much for us all. Thank you for your support. 🌟
